An inquisition is underway.

Captain Don Harr is told that the crew of Platoon F is going to travel back to planet Earth for further study. But Rear Admiral Parfait has decided he wants to join the mission, acting in the role of Senior Diplomat.

As they head off to the planet they’d visited during their last mission, they soon find they’ve somehow arrived 500 years in the past.

Worse, one of Harr’s officers is captured by religious zealots and they’ve sentenced her to death because they believe she’s a witch…
