Book 1
You won’t find me in the lore of the gods, but I’m there, hidden between the lines. Whenever the lesser gods torture humanity, creating armies of supernatural beasts to rain hell down on the innocent, it’s my job to stand against the tidal wave of pain and death.
I like my job. It’s fun, even if the gods are a bunch of bastards.
Book 2
The Goddess of Violent Death has shown up to the party, and she’s doing what she does best: destroying shit.
My team of grave diggers are having to run buckshot in an effort to rein her in. That’s a tall order, especially when the Keres have the backing of the other lesser gods.
Book 3
When Perses brings on Epiales to start twisting the minds of my team, I end up having to face the tortures of REM. Not the band. I’m talking about sleep.
Sadly, it's a real damned shame that I wasn’t built for sleeping.
Book 4
It was probably the wrong decision to go and see Philotes, but I couldn’t help myself. Too bad it resulted in precisely what Athena had warned me would happen. Namely, it brought Nyx, Erebus, and a number of Philotes’ brothers and sisters over to say, “Hi!”…and not in a good way.
Book 5
With godland sealed off, my team of grave diggers is all that’s left to stop Perses from gaining world domination. If we fail, the realm of Earth will fall into a state of hell that’ll make zombie apocalypse stories look like light reading. Pain, torture, slavery, and worse will wash across humanity like a tidal wave of anguish and torment. Yay.
Book 6
Perses and his crew of gods are loading up ancient power stations to give them a magical source that could rival the flow from godland. Taking down each station one by one is going be a bitch. Actually, it might just be impossible, unless I split the team. I really don't want to split the team. But, yeah, I'm going to have to split the team. Shit.
