The Whizzfiddle and Gungren Adventures

Book 1

A Quest of Undoing

Whizzfiddle the wizard has a problem. His past apprentice, the vindictive Treneth of Dahl, has brought up legislation claiming Whizzfiddle has never completed a quest to the letter of the contract.

The Wizards’ Guild deliberates and sentences Whizzfiddle to find a quest, get it contracted, and finish it to the letter within 30 days.

Book 2

The Kidnapped Prince

Gungren is tired of waiting to become a full-fledged wizard. Unfortunately for Gungren, Whizzfiddle isn’t one who takes well to pushy apprentices.

But when the Fates decide to give one of their infamous quests to Gungren, it leaves Whizzfiddle with little choice but to lend his support.

Unbeknownst to Whizzfiddle, though, the quest is only part one of three.

Book 3

Saving Major Wiggles

Major Wilbur Wiggles doesn’t know it yet, but all four of his older brothers have been killed in combat. The military brass has tried to notify him, but the Major’s squad has gone dark because their radios are out.

Spotting an opportunity to capitalize on the drama, the Fates summon Gungren for the second leg of his three-part Fate Quest.

Book 4

The Ultimate Dragon Fighting Championship

The Ultimate Dragon Fighting Championship (UDFC) only occurs once every ten years. This is the 100th running. That means lights, cameras, and coverage like never before. Plus, the reigning champion, a dragon known as Crazell, can hit a milestone of twenty-five consecutive title defenses if she can pull in another win.

But when it’s learned the Fates have decided to make Gungren join the event as the final leg of his three-part Fate Quest, the proverbial poop hits the fan.

Other Tales in Ononokin

Book 1

The Full Moon Event

Paulie Vergen is your average, everyday vampire. He’s short, overweight, balding, and has only one fang. He’s also a bit lacking in the realm of self-confidence.

Life was what it was for Paulie until the day a newly infected werewolf landed on his doorstep. That day launched the one (and only, to point) adventure that Paulie had ever had...and it was a doozy.

Book 2

Bob the Zombie

Bob is a zombie who was just going about his business when a band of thieves stole his hand so they could make a batch of Elfagra in the Upperworld.

It’s bad enough that they’ve taken a part of his body for such a purpose, but one wrong move while attempting to make the concoction could cost Bob his life! Granted, he’s technically undead, but this is the kind of mistake that would make him dead dead.

Book 3

Gappy's Gadgets

Gappy Whirligig is an industrious gnome who has yet to reach the Age of Tinkering.

He’s 42.

All he wants to do is build a flying contraption. Unfortunately, building such a device requires a fuel source that may make him explode, and the gnome town of Hubintegler has strict rules against inhabitants blowing themselves up prior to the age of 50.

Book 4

Star Dwarves

The Underworld has always been the hub of technology in Ononokin, but up until now they could only dream of leaving the atmosphere.

When the gnome known as Buzzrigger Tinkerpop connects with an enterprising dwarf by the name of Kusdrin Chainhelm, the Dwarf Aeronautic Space Administration (DASA) is born. Their first rocket is called The Pointy Anvil and it’s only a couple months away from liftoff.
